What can I share?
PDF documents, out of the box. Other file types, such as images, can be switched on for your WireShare. PDFs, text files and PNG or JPEG images can all be previewed.
How big can a file be?
Up to 7 MB per file by default — plenty for plans, manuals and data sheets. The limit can be raised for your WireShare.
Do the people I send links to need an account?
No. A link opens the document straight away — no app, no sign-up, no login. A protected link only asks for the password you chose.
Does it work on phones?
Yes. Links and QR codes open on any phone, and WireShare itself has a full phone version, so you can upload and share from wherever you are.
Which languages does WireShare speak?
The WireShare app speaks French, German and Italian and picks the right one from your browser. Each person can switch in the settings.
